Die im August 2015 durchgeführte Digitalisierung des maroden Gutshofs diente zusammen mit der Beurteilung des technischen Zustandes der Gebäude als Grundlage für ein Seniorenheim-Konzept in Lagow. Der Laserscan lieferte, schon vor Erhalt einer geodätischen Karte, Projektinformationen über Höhen von Gebäudepositionen in Bezug zueinander sowie über bestehende Hangneigungen.
